Services

Holiday Camps

Our camps are scheduled during vacations and holidays for Jersey City's public and private schools. Join us for an exciting program of Engineering through woodwork. This is a full day outdoors camp for children where they learn to work with real tools building meaningful projects out of wood.  We strongly believe children thrive in active, nature-based, outdoor setting where they are breathing fresh air and learning about their environment while creating their projects.  We are very involved in community projects such as food distribution and environmental programs which we will involve the students every week in.

School Classes

We come to schools to run After School classes for students ages 4 to 12.
Our team brings all the tools and materials needed for the class.
Students learn construction, engineering, math and geometry concepts while developing fine and gross motor skills.
Projects range from model vehicles, sail boats, tool boxes to life size furniture and go karts.

Birthdays & Events

We bring all the supplies to your location for a special event or a birthday party. The activity is usually takes 1.5 hours and is a great take-home gift for the guests.
Guests will plan, measure and build their projects, developing physical skills, spatial and mechanical reasoning, conceptual thinking and acquiring understanding of the materials. In the process, students experience concepts in math, geometry, physics, and engineering.

Finished projects get decorated (paint, oil pastel or mineral oil finish)
The starting price is $30 per student for 1.5 hour special activity. Price is subject to project complexity and location.

"I am obsessed with this place. This is the second summer my 5 year old daughter had attended camp and now my younger son is there as well. Pick them up every day tired, sweaty and dirty from being outside all day, climbing trees and when they aren’t doing that they are making something creative with power tools and wood. Imaginative and free play balanced with trusting kids enough to teach them how to properly use tools. I love it and most importantly, my kids too. We will be back every year until they grow out of it (that said, I would love to go myself so they may never outgrow it"
